How do you make the shapes reflect on the floor? I've done everything so far right and it still doesnt reflect right.

I had considered it before, and I help teach the students in my GFX class cause I'm "accelerated" vs. everyone else. However my grades in other classes aren't quite good enough for that, and from what I've seen public schools are getting cuts everywhere. Especially in Ohio, because they passed a law stating that businesses don't have to send tax money to the schools. That has made my school and school's around us lose millions of dollars each year. We have to cut 3 teachers next year(my Sr. year, and one of them is gonna be one of the art teachers. Finding jobs as a teacher is going to be hard in the future, I'd rather work out of home. Plus I'm thinking about going into computer repair.

thanks, but when i make do as you did, i still don't get such crisp and defining colors as you have on the title of the tutorial "Cinema 4D basics" and the shapes above? any idea why?

You mean the reflections? That's a different part of this series of tutorials which will come soon. That's the HDRI mapping. Without HDRI your renders will always look somewhat dull. Please keep watching my page as I have 2 more tutorials from this series coming soon.
