Nearing the end of Winter quarter and Raymond Walters College means it's time to start re-organizing and archiving all work completed for the quarter, which means upload for all of you to check out.  So with that said, I move on to uploading the latest progress report on my project for 3D Gaming: Advanced Texturing and Lighting class the Xavage, originally modeled by David Limars.  Soon to come will be various projects from my graphic design class, all of which were done in Adobe Illustrator.  None are very impressive as they are school assignments, not a lot of work is put forth into them, not enough time to really do more than what is required to get an A.  Keep checking in!

What a surprise.  Another year has gone by with me posting a few updates here and there but as always, no journals.  Paradox Designs is put on a hold for the moment, and will remain like that until I can successfully pull the forum off how I want to.  Chances are it will be invite only when it does open, so stay tuned maybe you'll get an invite.

Had a wonderful New Years with my darling Theresa.  Don't know what I'd do without her!  Started winter quarter at Raymond Walters, this quarter consists of Audio Production 1, 3D Gaming: Texturing and Lighting, American Film Noir, and Digital Graphics.  I'm excited to be in all the classes, even the Film Noir one.  Especially excited for Digital Graphics, which is focusing on nothing but adobe Illustrator which I need to work on a lot!  Expect to see some stuff from that class posted up here.  Also looking forward to the 3D class, keep tuned for those images also!

I've managed to obtain enough dough to upgrade my computer.  I got a new ATI Radeon 5870 Video card, a 700W power supply to juice the beast and a nice new monitor, 23" Asus Full 1080P HD Monitor with LED Backlight.  The monitor is simply outstanding and the video card just eats everything alive.

Talking more about graphics stuff here, I'm going to continue my zephyr project.  It is a series of digital abstracts set in space.  I had so much fun with the first one I can't help but make a series out of it.  I look forward to making more like it.  I'm also going to be starting a 100 theme challenge soon(if college permits me to have the time).  That will be fun and interesting.  

Alright...  Enough of talking, time to start being a hypocrite and not doing anything I just said.

Other news:  Was accepted into Raymond Walters College.  Going for an associates in applied science's.  Will obtain a Bachelors in photography from US shortly thereafter. 3 year program, starting in the fall.

This is the end of my X amount of views and inactivity journal book.  I'm back and better than ever.  Lots of new stuff going on and not enough time to type it all out but I figured I oughta post something so here I am.

It's 3AM (late as usual for me) so I'll be brief in pointing out whats new.

Got a girlfriend again, my wonderful and beloved Theresa!  I'm such a lucky person to have her and can't imagine ever not being with her.  I'm working for my Uncle Greg as a "PC Wizard" [his pc repair business] as a technician.  Applied to Raymond Walter college, will be starting hopefully this spring quarter studying for an Associate in Applied Sciences.  (covers photography, video, graphics, media in general)  Finally starting work on Paradox Designs!  I know a lot of you have been waiting a very long time for this and I promise it's coming this time.  With the help of a friend, Sean, as my co-admin I'm sure it will pull together.  We got a dA for it as well, visit: paradox-designs.deviantart.com…

Hope everyone will stop in, we are striving the best in general support for artists of all mediums.  Tutorials, resources you name it we got it.  Not just a graphics forum, we encourage other mediums such as photography, sketching, painting etc.

Ok, I admit, I'm a horrible person. =O  Haven't made a journal update since I made my 1500 views and Inactivity journal on Mar 8, 2007.  Over a year ago!  Yikes time flies by.  That's wicked.  Anyways, I'm back, probably not as active as I used to be but until I get myself back on track with my portfolio website and a decent graphics forum, I guess this will have to do. Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!

Anyways, been busy as usual.  Fixing up the house, looking for work, figuring out if I want to pursue computer maintenance and repair or graphics as my career.  Oh my!  The lions and tigers and bears oh my!  (something like that right?)  Nothings really interesting has happened in my life.  Not drastic anyways.  Well, I take that back.  About 3-4 months ago I was rushed to the hospital from school like 2 weeks before I got out of that place for the rest of my life.  Had a supra ventricular tachicardia (don't ask me if that is spelled right).  Basically my heart short circuited and was beating at over 200 beats a minute.  Heart was beating so fast the nurse couldn't get a blood pressure reading.  Turns out most of the time it's a one off thing, multiple things can cause it and apparently can happen to anyone at any random time for any random reason.  BE CAREFUL IT'LL GET YA!  I'm all fine though, went to the hospital, told me I was as strong and as healthy as an Ox, no fluid in the lungs and Blood tests checked out fine.  Lets see...  Shortly after that I Gradumawated   And the rest is all boring for you all.

That's about it I reckon, 4:37 AM I'm gonna go get some sleep now.  Leave me a comment on my page if you have a good graphics forum I should check out!  Looking for a good place with good crit. etc.
